150 Ukrainian women and children found a home with the sisters at monastery Huize de Berg in Heerlen after the start of the war. About resilience and the search for hope.

I shot six days at the refuge for this documentary by Zorba Huisman. It was a heavy shoot, both physically and mentally, but I'm very proud of the result. Afterwards I provided the semi-contrasty colourgrading in which finding hope was our main theme.
